Excelencia Tinta de Toro 2006/ 08 /10 - Spain 🇪🇸
Was produced for the first time in 1998. The fruit of one of the best plots close to the Duero River, production is limited to a volume of between 9,000 and 10,000 bottles a year.
Deep, muscular and full of black fruit, spice cake, and dark cherry aromas.
A real bullish wine with beef to spare; the palate has big tannins and lush flavors of mulberry, chocolate, and licorice. Stout and tannic on the finish, so bring on the meat.
The wine produced here is rich and fat with intense aromas and fragrances of candied fruit; it strongly reflects the terroir and the fabulous minerality of this superb vineyard.
- Alcohol Percentage: 15%
- Country: Rueda, Spain 🇪🇸
- Bottle: 750 ml
- EYE: A brilliant, mature cherry color.
- NOSE: An intense, spicy, mineral nose with mature fruit notes.
- MOUTH: The palate is full-bodied and gourmet, with an easy, yet powerful attack. A good structure with round tannins over notes of stewed fruit and with a fresh, mineral final.
